Hot on the heels of Dell’s new Studio and Inspiron range hooking up with Intel’s new Core chips, MSI has just come clean with info on a string of new Gaming and Classic laptops that use the self same processors.
The new MSI GX640 and GX740 machines have got gamers in mind, each one cramming in Intel Core i5 chips, with ATi Mobility Radeon HD 3D graphics. You also get DirectX 11 and digital 7.1 surround sound. The GX740 also rocks two hi-fi 3D speakers.
The Classic line up includes the CR420, CR629 and CR720, which go from a lightweight 14-inches up to a desktop replacing 17.3-inches. You get the same Core i5 processors, but not the graphics grunt that gamers expect.
